LONELY FOR YOU! Die Super Show by Natalie Assmann
WUK performing arts, Vienna

Nothing is as predestined for the dynamics of social control and shaming as the topic of 'loneliness'. Even though queer communities have long since established very different forms of living together and alone, the spokespeople of the debate about the 'loneliness epidemic' are often nostalgic advocates of a return to the classic nuclear family, who usually ignore emancipatory and pleasurable concepts of friendship and community
Loneliness is a universal experience that all of us have or have had.It is longed for or suffered, it catches us in the rush hour of life as well as in phases of separation, illness and loss. We encounter it in the echo chambers of social media, which make us believe that contact is available and quantifiable at all times. Loneliness accompanies and enables our creative processes and endeavours. Alone, we often take different paths than planned.
Alexandru 'Dru' Cosarca presents a humorous show evening that tells stories of lonely cowboys and lonely heroes and revives the unforgettable hits of the 90s and 2000s.
